This test trial involved presentation of odor without sucrose reinforcement. The trial begins with a 2 sec delay. The frames are then updated every 100 msec, which corresponds to every third frame on the videotape. The test odor is presented when the red light behind and below the bee is illuminated.

This bee responded in one continuous response with a short latency and a long duration. Note the appetitive antennal movements, which contrast with the antennal movements in the other animations.
