Chao Hsiu-fu (Biological Control Research Institute; Fujian Agricultural College;
Fuzhou, Fujian 350002; PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC OF CHINA) has been working on Agriotypinae for some
years. He still has some new material on hand for publication. Agriotypines parasitize prepupae and pupae
of Trichoptera; the parasitized host larva case has a very characteristic ribbonlike appendage about 1-5
mm long at one end of the case. Parasitized larval cases may be found most parts of the year. He would
like to borrow any parasitized larval cases and adult specimens for his research.
