A Note From Canacoll

The Canacoll Foundation was founded in 1972 for the express purpose of promoting research on the Canadian National Collection of Insecta (CNCI) and related arthropods. Canacoll is a registered charity under Canadian laws.

In 22+ years, Canacoll has received a total of $106,800 in donations and has supported 183 grants worth $107,300: these represent about 358 person/weeks (over 7 years) of curation and research on the CNCI. Grants cover only out-of-pocket expenses; the operating expenses amount to about 3% of donations.

Your support is welcome, either as a donor or with a proposal to curate areas of the CNCI where the staff does not have the expertise.
