The current trend in plant protection entomology is toward interdisciplinary research that transcends commodities and addresses problems relating to total production or landscape systems. Our program includes the synthesis and application of basic research, related to a wide range of insect management techniques and populations. Our state-wide integrated pest management program takes experimental techniques to the field.
