Systems Analysis
The application of systems science to agriculture and ecology is a modern and rapidly-growing discipline that involves examining organisms and their interactions with other biotic and abiotic components within the context of an entire natural or agricultural ecosystem. Systems approaches to research and management facilitate communication among disciplines and provide models that address basic and applied goals. We are developing programs that expand the bounds of more traditional economic entomology and insect ecology. We have excellent computing facilities and expertise at OARDC to support our program.
