Toxicology

Faculty members on both the Columbus and Wooster campuses are involved in various aspects of basic and applied toxicological research, in both aquatic and terrestrial systems, demonstrating broad expertise, from environmental toxicology to enzyme kinetics, from application technology to mixed-function oxidase systems. Our program offers superb opportunities in aquatic toxicology and hazard assessment with emphasis on toxicokinetics and quantitative structure-activity relationships. There are extensive opportunities for collaborative research, as well as an excellent toxicological library. Greenhouse space, analytical equipment, and field facilities are available at Wooster.
