Keith Philips is currently working on his PhD at Ohio State on the systematics of
the Ptinidae (Coleoptera). His main geographical area of interest is the New World
which has several unique genera of ptinids currently under his revision. One other large
project has been to revise Ptinus of North America and to attempt to rear species
representatives of various generic problem groups.
